James White on August 28, 2015 2 Comments Whether it’s for health or restorative purposes, dehumidifiers are useful in many situations and work to cleanse our spaces of unnecessarily humid climates. High levels of humidity can cause increases in biological particulates, such as mold, fungi, viruses and bacteria, which can affect your health as well as the structure of your space. Commercial dehumidifiers are powerful and effective units that excel in removing water and moisture from large areas. These units are great for repairing water and flood damage by removing excess moisture, which helps prevent mold growth. They are also efficient in commercial settings, protecting business stock from water damage and unpleasant musty odors. Why Choose Ebac Dehumidifiers? Ebac commercial dehumidifiers are professional solutions, and necessities, when it comes to treating commercial, residential and large personal spaces. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Durham, England, Ebac specializes in designing and manufacturing dehumidifiers, water coolers, freezers and many other appliances. Their dehumidifiers are large and very powerful, possessing the ability to monitor and treat humidity levels for vast open spaces. Because of this, these dehumidifiers can be great additions for businesses, warehouses, restoration projects and indoor pools. Let’s take a look at five of the most popular dehumidifiers from Ebac. If you’re in the market for a new commercial-sized dehumidifier, then one of the following units may be the perfect answer for you. 1. Ebac Commercial Dehumidifier – CD35 The Ebac Commercial Dehumidifier (CD35) is a self-contained, automatic unit that excels at treating industrial, commercial and residential spaces. Its attractive design allows for aesthetic use in your basement or garage, as well as large living spaces within your home. Ebac’s CD35 is able to work effectively in spaces up to 3,000 cubic feet and is efficient enough to treat warehouses, sensitive computer centers or archival storage locations, such as auction houses or museums. The CD35 is also reliable enough to withstand heavily moist spaces, like a steamy locker room or boiler room. Constructed with a sturdy carrying handle, durable wheels and an extra-long power cord, this commercial dehumidifier thrives when it comes to portable use. Crafted from galvanized steel, this Ebac dehumidifier is able to withstand strenuous work environments. The unit is equipped with Ebac’s “Hot Gas” defrosting feature which automatically eliminates frost build-up, allowing the dehumidifier to be used in low temperature settings. The CD35 features a 1.5 gallon capacity integral water tank with an indicator lamp to alert you when it’s time for a reservoir dump. This commercial dehumidifier is also able to facilitate permanent drainage with a condensate pump, allowing for less hassle and maintenance, all of which make it a fantastic choice for a wide variety of commercial settings. 2. Ebac Triton Portable Commercial Dehumidifier Priced within the average budget of most restoration specialists or homeowners, the Ebac Triton Portable Commercial Dehumidifier is excellent for treating commercial and residential areas, and has the capacity to treat several room-sized areas at a time. Adam Bockler says January 5, 2016 at 6:35 pm You make a great point about how industrial dehumidifiers can help reduce biological particulates for workplaces. I grew up in the Northwest, and we received a substantial amount of rain each year. Having the proper dehumidifier could be essential to keep workers healthy and keep product losses to a minimum there. I’d like to own my own business one day. I’ll have to keep your suggestions for dehumidifiers in mind. Reply
Anna J. White says February 20, 2016 at 10:17 pm I have one of their older dehumidifiers which still works well. When I needed a second one for a different location, I knew what brand to buy. The new one is super! It does a great job and is much quieter than the older one. I’m totally pleased. It does what it’s supposed to do, and the controls are easy to operate. Reply
